General Council

The General Council is our highest governing body within TKUSA and is composed of 4 elected directors, 2 appointed directors and our 4 executive board members. We invite student advisors from many areas of King’s to ensure transparency and sharing of ideas and feedback. Each year, the General Council approves the budget, reviews bylaws and policy changes and helps hold your Executive Board accountable to their strategic plan.

GENERAL COUNCIL ELECTIONS – THIS SEPTEMBER!

Are you interested in student government? General Council is a great place to learn more about TKUSA and its operations while making a difference at King’s. We highly encourage first-year students to run in the election, which is why we host our elections in September. All full-time or part-time students with good academic standing are eligible to run for a director position.

There are four open Director positions available for the 2025-2026 General Council. Nomination details will be available soon.
